Review your authorized channel's estimated revenue and views for the last 28 days, rather than a niche-based scenario. An account, eligible plan, and channel connection are required. Available API revenue categories and reporting delays affect the result.
Real RPM here means revenue per 1,000 views calculated from metrics YouTube already exposes to a channel owner through the YouTube Analytics API. After you sign in, start a plan (Starter is $19/month after a 7-day trial), and connect a channel, the tool reads estimated revenue and views for a 28-day window that ends two days before today. That lag matches how YouTube Analytics typically trails live Studio totals.
The result is not a forecast, a niche average, or a payout. It is a ratio for the window we queried: (estimated revenue ÷ views) × 1,000 when views are greater than zero. If the channel is not in the YouTube Partner Program, or had no ad revenue in that window, the checker stays empty instead of inventing a zero that looks like a measured RPM.
YouTube documents RPM as revenue per thousand views after YouTube's share. Studio can include more revenue categories than the Analytics API estimated-revenue metric this checker uses. Treat the number as the API's estimated revenue over views for the selected dates, not a full recreation of every Studio monetization card. Playback-based CPM is returned alongside RPM when the API provides it, so you can see the two related ratios without mixing them up: CPM is tied to ad playbacks, RPM is tied to views.
The same channel can show a different RPM in Studio if the date range, included revenue types, or Shorts versus long-form mix differ. Compare like with like: this page always uses the last 28 complete days after the reporting lag. Repeat the check after new videos or membership changes only after those days have closed in Analytics.
Access is metered like other authenticated dashboard reads. If YouTube quota or the monthly API allowance is exhausted, the checker asks you to retry later instead of substituting an estimate. Reconnect Google if the stored token cannot refresh.
The YouTube revenue calculator multiplies assumed views by an assumed RPM. That is useful before a channel is connected, or when you are sketching a niche scenario. This checker does the opposite: it refuses assumed RPM and only divides owner analytics that YouTube already attributed to your channel. Use the calculator for planning ranges. Use Real RPM when you need the ratio from the last month of authorized data.
Neither tool replaces YouTube's own RPM and CPM definitions. Sponsorships, merch, Super Thanks beyond the API's estimated revenue, and taxes are out of scope. For video-level and geography revenue inside the product, open Revenue Analytics after the same channel connection.
A 28-day RPM moves when the mix of videos, countries, ad formats, or view volume changes. A spike after one well-monetized upload is not a channel-wide rate you can multiply by next month's views. A dip after a Shorts-heavy week is not proof that long-form RPM collapsed. Read the number with the view count and estimated revenue shown for the same window.
If you are comparing tools, keep the job split clear: keyword and packaging products do not see this owner metric; public view counters do not either. Real RPM is only available after OAuth. That is the same authenticated path the rest of TubeAnalytics uses for connected-channel revenue, not a second estimate engine.
