These ranges are directional planning estimates for monetized long-form YouTube content in Q2 2026. They are not a TubeAnalytics customer-data study and should not be presented as market medians. Use them to form a hypothesis, then validate that hypothesis against authenticated revenue and view data in YouTube Studio or the YouTube Analytics API.
YouTube defines CPM as advertiser spend per 1,000 ad impressions and RPM as creator revenue per 1,000 video views after YouTube's revenue share. RPM can include ads, memberships, YouTube Premium, Super Chat, and Super Stickers, so it is not a fixed percentage of CPM.
The estimates below describe broad planning bands, not guaranteed outcomes. Finance and software topics may attract higher advertiser demand than general entertainment, while gaming results can differ sharply between gameplay and purchase-intent hardware content. Audience country, season, ad suitability, format, and monetized-playback rate can move an individual channel outside every listed range.
Do not convert CPM to RPM with a universal multiplier. Compare each video's authenticated RPM, playback-based CPM, monetized playbacks, view geography, and revenue mix over the same date range instead.
Use a complete calendar quarter and calculate RPM as total YouTube revenue divided by total views, multiplied by 1,000. Keep playback-based CPM separate because its denominator is monetized playbacks rather than all views. Segment results by video format, audience country, and topic before comparing them with a planning band.
Record the date range, currency, included revenue sources, number of videos, total views, and geography mix beside every comparison. A reproducible benchmark should produce the same result from the same authenticated export.
TubeAnalytics has not published a statistically representative Q2 2026 customer sample for these ranges. The bands cannot establish a market median, predict one channel's earnings, or isolate the effect of niche from geography, seasonality, format, ad suitability, or revenue mix.
Treat any estimate as a starting point only. For operational decisions, use authenticated YouTube revenue data and compare like-for-like periods. Public competitor data cannot reveal a competitor's actual RPM, CPM, monetized playback rate, or revenue mix.
